JOSHUA

01 Joshua Leads Israel

WELCOME

LET'S WORSHIP TOGETHER

MEMORY VERSE

Description:
Today, we are introduced to a man named Joshua. The Lord selected Joshua to be the next leader of Israel after the death of Moses. After wandering in the desert for 40 years the people were finally getting a second chance to enter the land God had promised Moses. The people wanted a strong leader. God gave Joshua the task of leading the Israelites into this new land. There would be many obstacles in the way which would test Joshua's leadership abilities. Abundant Life family encourage your child to memorize this memory verse. Once we are back to church, we will reward those who memorized their verse

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."
Joshua 1:9 NIV
